Maressa is IHB’s Communications Manager, driving the IHB’s internal and external communication efforts and channels. Maressa holds a Bachelor in Integrative Biology from the University of California at Berkeley, a Master and PhD in Evolutionary Biology from Columbia University, and a diploma in Practical Science Communications from the University of Cambridge. She has worked at the Botnar Research Centre for Child Health (University of Basel and ETH Zurich) and the Smithsonian Institute.
